87 runner build (sort of) lol
« on: Dec 17, 2009, 12:36:58 PM »
What's up everyone I thought I'd share my progress on my rig with you all, get input ,compliments whatever. I also need 12 posts to post in the classified section haha. So got an 87 4runner bone stock and straight as an arrow. Through the two years that I've had it I have put a marlin front bumper on it, mild engine upgrades + exhaust, 3inch rear lift approx 2 inches in the front with add a leafs and longer shackles/ ball joint spacer and slightly cranked torsion bars. Interior is completely bed lined and have one suspension seat( cause my broke ass couldn't afford two lol). Running 33"s 17x13.5 iroks.

The plan: one tons!
Dana 60 front corp 14 bolt rear( have the rear so far)
Gearing still up in the air
dual cases
upgraded motor ( haven't decided exactly what yet) 3.4 maybe
4 link front leafs rear
38" or 39"s maybe some pit bulls
exo cage
and fresh paint
so that's my plans and we'll see how it goes.
Hopefully I'll just win the lottery and get it done all at once lol( wishful thinking)

Yea I guess I could do that I was thinking though to run coil overs i'd have to hack into the floor. Not sure if I'm willing to do that. Here's some pics one stockish then the other two are of stage two it now sits a little higher and has better flex.
