Transmission re-build
« on: Nov 17, 2014, 06:02:32 PM »
I am looking to get the transmission rebuilt in my 85 4runner.  As it sits everything else has been gone through and re-done besides the tranny.  Anyone know of a good shop that can do the work?  I live in Castle Rock and commute to Westminster for work so almost anything is on the way to and from work.

I did that for the motor and it went ok.  Just took three of them blown to get it right.  I also had a guy who used to circle track race that walked me through how to do the motor.  It would go a whole lot better if I had someone who knew what they were doing to walk me through the first one so I don't grenade it.
