i think i blow my 22r HELP!!!!!!

so i was up in the snow tonight and i got stuck so i was trying to get out and i was useing the high rpms and then i got out and i heard a rod knocking so i put some oil in cuz it was really low and then i was driving it home trying to "baby it" and i was going up a hill and then my engine went boom and it shut off and it would start back up it seems like it is ceased up but not sure any thoughts on what it might be?

it would or would not start.    cause the general thing is. is when you have it start knocking then ya it's probly toast. :attention:

usaly once the damage has been done.  it is blown.  but it should be an easy fix.    if you didn't break rods. :thumbs:

why did you wait till you had damage to decide to check the oil :slap:

i'm sure its burned up inside,  possible the crank is ruined, cam and rockers may be badly scarred, rings seized etc etc

when mine went boom, the piston grenaded inside and it siezed up.  Splitting the number 3 cylinder and a bunch of other stuff.   Good luck.  i did a rebuild and i love it.

You are in for a complete rebuild, if it siezed it is toast.

Sounds like time for a 3rz swap...  You can get them used cheap enough now - just find a donor Taco that's all busted up/wrecked.
