ok i was drivin my truck home from work today it was runnin great no problems at all got home at changed jumped in it to go visitr someone and it has a horrible knock in it it has the correct amount of oil good pressure has antifreeze in it no smoking at all just this horrible knock i got the motor from my dad and installed it about 2 months ago never had any problems with it fresh oil change and all that any help would be great thank you

STOP DRIVING IT NOW

you need to pull the valve cover and look for anything out of the ordinary, if it looks good, you need to pull the oil pan,  you can later reseal the pan with some blue rtv
but you gotta find the bad rod or whatever it is before it blows itself apart this will save you several hundred dollars

its parked im drivin my bronco just cant figure this out theres no metal shavings top end is good and tight its somewere in the bottom end but it all seems tight anyway to check if its a wrist pin without trearing apart the motor?
