thanks guys!!  i still need to throw in some extra support tubes over the roof. i also want to bend up some new taller shock hoops and connect the fender bars to them and possibly throw in a tubular brace over the engine.  its always a work in progress but hopefully i can get some of those pieces put in soon.

I recently started building my cage.  I'll be working from rear to front and finishing parts as I go.  I tacked everything on so I know it fit, I then removed it and welded slowly so to minimize warping.  I then painted and masked off the parts I need to weld later.

After some though I decided to make a new tailgate, that ties into the exo.  I am going to start with the bottom tube and make some spring loaded pins.

I made some pin recievers for the exo and some spring loaded pins for the gate.

Excuse the grease, on the pins.

And the bottom tube done.

Rear from the side.

More to come, as I finish the tailgate and move towards the front. In case your wondering about the Top,  my truck is bobbed so the fiberglass top is gone.  I have a custom top from Kayline and a wife who sews.

I do, I got sick of replacing lights, and pounding panels back into shape.  Besides its winter, and I am waiting on Jags That Run for my VSS.  It gives me something to do.

Nice, I did this on a set of tube doors I built a few years ago.
