Where's everyone hiding there winch solenoid box at??
« on: Jun 15, 2016, 10:38:16 PM »
Got a winch and wanting to hide it somewhere. A lot of people do it in engine bay. Like that idea of it being out of the weather but when it comes to winching time poping the hood and running the remote line from the Solenoid to the cab sounds iffy with the hood shut on it.. Any one have any slick setups?? Pictures would be much appreciated!! Thanks agian!!

I use the 12voltguy controller as well and it is amazing. Though I've left my solenoid in its stock location atop of the winch. Don't really see the need to move it.  :dunno:

Like SqWADoosh my solenoid is sitting right on top of the winch just the way Warn intended.  If it helps, it's hidden from my view in the driver's seat... :smack:

I was lazy and put it on top of the winch. Would like to hide it but didn't put that much time into my bumper or design
