OK, could anyone tell me if an 85 turbo 2WD third is the same as the 4WD turbo/v6 third? I've searched and can't seem to get a definitive answer. Thanks in advance!!!!!!!!!!

yup, all turbos and v6 trucks got the 8" v6 style third regardless if they were 2wd or 4wd

Yes the 2wd & 4wd use the same 9 ribbed 3rd members

Great, thanks for the super-fast response. I cracked :dunno: my rear third. Still can't believe it, but oh well, gotta pull a new one at the yard tomorrow.
