for all of those who like doing their own work
« on: Jan 19, 2009, 08:18:54 PM »
well i have a 96 dodge ram wide @$$ (3500 dually) ex cab 4x4. i kinda fell into it. i bought a 92 cummins off a buddy that just needed a new oil pan. well in a 1st gen dodge you CAN NOT change the oil pan in the truck. so whilr the engine was out i decided to re do the gaskets. well while doing that i had another buddy that fell on hard times and he had a 96 dodge with the v-10 that was bad. so to help him out i bought it. well putting a cummins in a v-10 truck not fun not fun at all. but we got it done. today i just finished the safari rack. someday there will be a shell under the rack. what do you all think?

in the begining

the new old heart

so have u done any mods to the motor?  my 90 has 300 hp injectors, hx40 turbo with 4" exhaust, and alot of pump mods to pour the smoke.  im gonna get some dyno #'s in 2 weeks.

how many turns did u go on the fuel screw?  mine is 4.5
did u adjust the boost pin in the top of the pump?
mine is missing the pin, full rack all the time.
if i keep my foot out of it, it still gets around 20
