Topic: Glamis Clean Up 01-17-09

Glamis' annual clean up is this weekend, if you are heading out there pitch in for the sake of the area. Also FYI Imperial county has picked up the ball and will provide the trash pick up for this season. I would still get used to packing it out since this is only a 1 year reprieve.

Here we are again doing our part to keep the few remaining areas left open to use, there were truck loads picked up throughout the dunes. Now just think of how bad it would be out there if they stopped the trash bins and wanted us to pack it out. I'm used to packing it in and packing it out but there are those that don't really care and just throw junk everywhere and those are the ones that cry about it when an area gets closed.
