I thought i had made a good choice moving to a FJ40 cruiser, Its a 76 model with 4 speed. First trip out into the bush
and right at the back of the valley, stuck in a mud hole and the transfer box drops off the gear box!
WHAT THE HELL!!! Not even giving it the fat foot!!
I have been told its common as!
Now I got another box but its a split case transfer and the input shaft is long and fine spline, my shagged one is short and corse spline so wont fit!
can i change the transfer boxes over or what??
PLEASE HELP!
