blackdog might know, I have heard of a trail 1 mile long close to m/r and it takes a long time to just do that one mile(very tuff trail).  I dont know if it is called twister or not.  I heard about it from some of the locals.

I heard about it from some friends,  Need to find out how to get to it.  It is a good option to get out of the racers way during saturday.  Just a thought.

I just emailed a guy on utube that has a video of himself on Twister Trai near Reno NV - check it out.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KZXf7LUTxiE    Not sure if I linked right but just google twister trail nv - -that is how I found it!

I asked him where it was so maybe he will get the msg and get back to us!

We need to find some information on a couple of trails that are suppose to be better than this twister trail.  I just got done talking with him and found where it is.

We need to look for some trails called the Gate Keeper and sleeper Alley.  These are suppose to be north of I-80

i ran lucky canyon outside of carson city and it was awesome.  about a mile maybe a mile and a half and it took me and one other rig a few hours to go up and back down. really tight and a lot of damage if you are not careful, but i dont think it would be a good trail to have a buch of people on and there is really no where to camp
