any 3rd Gens (IFs) Running 35s

Any of the 3rd Gens that are still still IFS, running 35s ? I know a couple and have talked to them.
Anyone else ? Im thinking Im going to be cutting, plating and welding  :gap:

Blackdog  has been running 35's on a lifted ifs for a few years :dunno:

 I am running 35's but open in the front.....nice road manners and cant say i regret it on the trail.  THey call my rig the cadillac

Here's some more of mine!













I've thrashed on my IFS since 2003, first with 37"s, then with 35"s (couldn't afford 37"s again)  I've got a lockrite up front, and up until this last 'con trip, have only broken a few pieces on the front end ( a couple stub shafts, and some steering parts)  This last trip spelled the end of IFS for me, I broke 4 axles and a hub, just on the front end.  I believe I've thrashed it to the point of no return, as my driving style hasn't changed.  I don't believe my IFS framework is square any longer, which in turn puts more stress on everything underneath.

i have bolted 35s up to mine, havent actually wheeled it though. what you see is the most wheelin ive done with it :yupyup:


and so you can see how it fills up the fenders



thats with a 3" lift. :thumbs:

Just from looking at your avatar, you're looking for something like this:




The Sonoran Steel recipe involves their lift kit ~3", a 1.5" body lift, and offset rims.
SS is a reasonable place to start when one wishes to mix 35s and 3rd gen IFS-ness:
