newbie from Austin
« on: Sep 27, 2008, 01:24:23 PM »
Checking in from Austin/Buda TX.  I've been getting stuff from Marlin for years, just never played on the forum.  I'm a regular at toyotaoffroad.com.  Seems like I spend more time building than I do wheeling.  I bought my 83 Toy 3 1/2 years ago, it had been sitting in a field for several years.  I bought it for $800 and I am now looking at over $12000 invested!  I'm going to be doing a 3.4 engine swap next summer.  Until then I have been relying on Marlin's 4.7 gears to get me up most stuff.
Doesn't matter what it's got, it's never enough!
