purple hornie install
« on: Sep 08, 2008, 04:49:00 PM »
okay so i have done many exhaust systems and normally the muffler has a flow arrow that points which way the exhaust flows.
but i just recently bought a purple hornie to put on my truck and there is nothing significant showing which way to install it...... but i notice if you look down one side you can see holes in the muffler and if you look down the other there are no holes.  which way do i put it on???/

i would imagine it goes on the way with the holes facing the flow so that it goes through the holes to create the sound :dunno:?

i held it up to the exhaust both ways and it almost sounds the same.

help? i dont want any  :blah: :blah: bashing about buying a glasspack

Holes should face toward the engine
