Smitty builf front and rear bumpers....
« on: Aug 29, 2008, 09:01:27 PM »
I have 1 front and 2 rear bumpers. The front will ned a little work to securely attach it. Both rears are in good working order. All 3 have usual scratches. I'll get pics tomorrow.

Located Roseville CA. Local pickup only.

1 of the rear bumpers has a hitch, 1 does not. The 1 with hitch is currently on my Runner so it will need to be removed be fore someone comes for it. Like I stated previously the front has some ghetto fab mounting on it from a prefious owner. There is a small hole near the Ghetto fab work so some water is inside the main tube after sitting out side for nearly 2 years.

i just talked to jermome (jkief86) on the phone, and if you can meet with me, i can take all 3 bumpers, and help you remove the one from your runner..... if not, i may be able to have someone @ my house to meet with you, and just drop them off? :dunno: ?

my parents house is in fremont, i i will be there most of the day until about 3:45pm, then i will be heading to the alameda country fire trainign tower in san leandro, where my truck will be parked for the duration, but i wont be able to access my truck

So your a runner, I have a pickup. I have been told the runner bumper will not work for a truck bumper. Anyone verify this?

The fronts are the same, but the rear of a 4Runner has to drop further than the pickup. Also the pickup usually mounts on the outside of the frame while 4Runner is on the inside. I have used a pickup bumper on my 4Runner but the 4Runner had a 2 inch bodylift and the mounts were setup to be able to change the mount location since they were setup with bolts instead of being welded to the bumper.
