Topic: Winch solenoid

One of the solenoids on my Warn M8000 needs to be replaced. Does anyone know if the solenoids used on a winch are the same as this 12v continuos duty solenoid that I can pick up at a parts store ?

Yeh you can get them at Napa.  Just take the old one with ya they should be able to find it.

They used Ford soelnoids on the older ones. And the reason for 2 was to keep the overheating to a minimum

Mines got 4             - M8000

And the guys at the local NAPA are all on crack, I'd probably end up with a wiper motor
