have any of yall heard anything about the recall toyota is doing on their 95+ vehicles? supposedly there is a large percentage of the trucks/4 runners with frame issues and toyota is doing a buy back program giving you blue book value for your vehicle. pretty sure its real but obviouslly i dont have access to a dealership to find out for certain.

They try, based on their records.  I didn't get a recall notcie for my relay rod for a few YEARS after the recall started.  Its nice to have stuff posted up like this so people can go check.  thanks red!

Yes there is a recall for frame rust perforation, as far as I know there is no mailing going on it's a case by case issue. If it is repairable they will fix it, if it is unrepairable they will buy back your truck.

i heard the same thing. and actually i heard that if you take your truck there and they deem it damaged due to rust that they will consider it unsafe to drive and you have no option but to sell it back
