22RE engine and EFI related stuff in Colorado
« on: Aug 11, 2005, 08:47:01 AM »
I'm looking to swap my 22R in my 84 4Runner to EFI.  Looks like I'll need everything to do the swap, wiring harness, fuel tank and lines, ECU.  Something running would be great!

Thanks

what's your tiemframe for your swap?

Iv'e got an 84 4runner converted to 87 injection that I will soon be parting out (just the motor)
the bottom end developed a rod knock and I subsequently built a 22rte motor for it.

I'll have:
complete 87 22re fuel injection with fresh injectors. everything you'd need except the dashblard harness, fuel tank, and bottom half of the AFM box

Thorley Header 6 months old

2.25 thorley cat-back exhaust and a new cat

6 month ould rebuilt cyl head with engnbldr's ho-po ss valves kit and a engnbldr midrange cam.

got a new 84 timing cover with new water pump and an engnbldt high volume oil pump on it, too.

i've got everything you need minus the computer but i'm located in washington
87 runner, 4" trailmaster lift, 33" TSL/SX, 5.29's V6 e-locker, 22re that cost too much

How many miles on the motor and what year is it from?  Is it from a 2wd or a 4wd?
