L52 hd gearbox
« on: Feb 20, 2008, 04:14:17 AM »
Hi from Australia
I'm interested in building 1 of the L52 HD gearboxs to go in my 79 hilux
Currently running the 4spd version (L48) behind a 5 litre holden v8 an had no dramas
I have a spare box with the 5 spd conversion kit (because these boxs were not available as a five spd over here) which i plan to use for the build
What do i need to do to this box for the HD buildup an what other parts do i require

THK Matt

Yeh seen a bit of info on pirate 4x4 about building up the HD version but need a bit more info on actually doing the rebuild
Machine work on the box itself is not a problem can get a mates old man to this in his engineering shop (always working on this sort of different projects)
