Topic: sas on the cheap

ok guys i am trying to do a sas on my 87 runner on the cheap... what am i looking at if i went with 63's rears up front .... i just want to try and get a list of thing that i need let me know what you guys think i would need and...how i could do it on the cheap......

I've heard 63s up front is a really rouph ride.

63s up front would kill your approach angle, and they are fairly flat, so you wouldn't achive much lift.

Put the 63s in the rear and the rears up front. Buy a spring hanger kit and move your steering box foward, and you will be happy. Read the toy FAQ on Pirate 4x4 buletin board for all the details. All the info is laid out nice and simple and it is an easy swap if you do a little research.

sorry guys i  i got ahead of myself.... 87 runner rear springs on the front and 63's on the rear
