It's sad, but you will most likely get more if you part it out. You might try ebay.

Probably start around 12K,ish

 thouhgt about the E-Bay thing,,
I'll probably start with Truck Trader,, and some local papers,

trying to sell it in here or on POR  isnt a good idea, ,, I know that this site is for build-up's and not really for selling built rigs,, just needed some input to start with

I have no desire to part it out, and really not in any big hurry to sell it ,I'll just keep it if it dosnt sell,  I have 6 4Runners already,(and possibly a 7th if the SAS 2001 Limited 4Runner happens), so keeping it in the Family wont be a problem,, it will just sit and collect dust,,!!

Kick ass 4runner man. I've got a buddy that lives about a minute from your house and every time I drive by I have to slow down so I can hopefuly catch a glimpse of this beauty. I would say 12K is a very reasonable price. This is an awesome 4runner. I hope you get what you are looking for and luckily (from the 6, maybe 7 runner comment) it sounds like you arent out of the game which is good to hear.

Thanks,, hey stop in sometime and say, Hi,!!

Yea I hope to stick with the 4Runner theme,, I just need to downsize due to my wifes' back injury, and really like the looks/power of the 3rd Gen's,
I have been offered a nice TJ, J**p for a trade,, but I think I'll pass,
I'll find someone out there who wants a built rig, but dosnt have the time or experience to build one,

You have 176,000 on the engine?
Man, with 3 kids I'd love to have a 4 door. I have a similar built 4runner but it is a 1st Generation and only about 8000 on a custon motor. Any chance you might be interested in a trade?

Well it's a 2001 Limited ,3.4, automatic,

currently I have it sitting on a fullwidth Dana 44 ,ARB 5.38s CTM u-joint. alloy axles, high steer
rear axle is a Dana 60, Detriot  both axles are 6-lugs
rear 63" 3/4 ton 5-leaf Chevy springs with our double swing shackles
fronts are some used 44044s
I now have it on some worn 36" Swamper Radials, to move it around,,

The story is kind of long winded,,
 but in a nut shell
I got the 01 ,sitting on jack stands in a garage,, (no axles/wheels)

So while I was trying to figure out how the best way to get it home , I surfed Craigslist and found a guy parting out a rolled 97 Sas'ed 4Runner

and I scored,, on the axles/ tires/wheels , dual 4 cyl 23 spline t-cases,, and a TON of other things
Loaded everything in our Dodge and off we went.......
The axles bolted right up to the 01 ,, and on the trailer it went,,!!
This Runner will be heavely downsized compared to my 90, :o, but should still tackle the Rubicon/Fordyce on a normal basis

Sick...sounds like a good plan

Looking forward to seeing how it turns out. I love 3rd gen 4runner builds. My old man has a stock 00 runner that I am hoping some day I will inherit after he decides to get a new rig :crossed:

Well I'm going to be working on it for awhile, I picked up a High Pinion Dana 44 already cut down to 62",, and wil need to have the other D44's ARB installed,, and than it's going to be a challange to get the check engine light to go off, so I can get it off a non-op and smogged,, but we have a good idea on how to get this done,
