The rear of the 4Runner frame is different than the truck. The body mount are not the same  :twocents:

you will need to basically install all new bodymounts. the 80 cab is shorter than a 84-88/89 front. the bed also wont mount in the same spots either

but have i'll be having fun  doing it . i have check the body mounts and all but one set of them i have to move the front mounts i have to drill out a little bit and then the back of the cad mounts need to move back a little bit  and the bed is just about 2in off the bed to mount it to the bed and the fram  .  so it is going be a fun thing to get in to

It is loads of fun. :yikes: I'm in the process (when I have time) of putting an 73 cab and bed on an 86 frame. Every mount needs to be redone. I'll eventually post some pics of this project when I get a little further along.
