« on: Oct 20, 2007, 06:36:31 PM »
what size it is? the bolt is 1 of 2 that holds the brake caliper on a solid axle knuckle.  they are on marlin's store, but i need one tomorrow so i'm hoping to pick one up at the hardware store. does anybody know the size or is it a special bolt?

i have the other bolt..... but you need two per side to hold the caliper on. one of my pass. side bolts had bad threads and this weekend i switched in a new knuckle.  SINCE, i switched in a new knuckle i dont want to put that bad bolt back in.

which size is it?
12mmx1.25x1 1/2"
or
14mm x 30mm x 1.25 pitch  17mm head

duffil. you pretty sure of yourself? i know it has a 17mm head and its most likely 1.25 pitch. but is it 12 or 14

it's a 12. I went and pulled one out of my truck to double check. same size as a wheel stud, different pitch.
