Topic: What t-case to use for the Taco box

 I have a 2wd, 3.4,non prerunner tacoma I may convert over..  I have been reading that the tacoma t-case is strong..  Might go the taco box route since it seems like there are alot of taco tcases out there and I wont have to mess with my exhaust..  What is the good case to use(year, model)..  Isn't there a electronic tcase?  I don't want that do I?

my wife's tacoma is a 2002 trd with an auto and her case is manual shift no electronic stuff. what tranny do you have?? need some more info on what you have and what you wont to do. Keep you tranny get a new one??

my tranny makes no differance on what transfer case Is best..  I have a 2 wheel drive I am converting over and am using the t-360 adapter with geardriven crawl box..  All I need to know is what is the best taco tcase to use for the taco box conversion..

But if people want to know just because, it is getting a r151f
