Greetings, I am new to crawling and am looking to purchase my first rig...i think i have a good deal on my hands but would like advise from jeep owners.here is the setup:4.0L inline 6, 120k miles with new fuel injectorsoriginal tranny with heavy duty/high performance clutch8inch lift (35+ inches of articulation)front straight axle, chromoly 4 link4:56 gears front and rearfull custom roll cagedana 44 reardetroit lockerscustom chromoly 6 link rear35 bfg mudders, new on 15x8 wheelsair adjust rear end with compressora/call for $5000.00am i not asking any important questions? am i getting a good deal? if so, i would appreciate the feedback, and maybe ill see you on the trail!
maybe the 6 link is what offers the 35+ inches of articulation. maybe its two 3 links, or a 1 link and a 5 link. its a good price for a tj, but not for an xj, its kinda right in line for a yj though.
What are we talking about here? XJ, TJ, ZJ ...? What year ? Post pics of this thing... Cause alot of sounds made up, like the seller has no idea what he's selling. 6 link rear huh, interesting.... 8" lift is way to much for 35's.. Straight axle front huh... unless its a KJ or a WK every jeep produced has a SFA. So its got air bags in the rear ? Again pics please... here is my 2cents. Pass on this thing, get yourself a stock rig and learn how to wheel it, break it, and repair it. Then either build that or buy something thats built. Getting into a rig that is built( for the parking lot or trail) is gonna make you think you could go anywhere and do anything and your going to end up getting hurt.just my opinion.
