my yota for sale?
« on: Aug 01, 2007, 05:55:16 PM »

would you take 6,000 for my yota if it was yours?
There is some interest in it locally and I am tired of the "never ending" mntce. and building.  I haven't touched it in months but I still like it even as I hate it.

the bad
It has two broken shock bolts that could use new mounts out back and has a flat tire (why?), leaky cases, needs knuckle rebuild, needs brake service on rear, patch up hole in the floor b/c of flat belly and some exhaust would be nice.

the good
when it's together it does awesome and I really like the "feel" of it when wheeling. Its super stable, lightweight and performs great.

the other option
tear it apart and swap the whole drivetrain into a new buggy chassis with links f/r and some new goodies.  this is my ultimate goal.

here's the truck for ya'll who don't know me:
I'm going yota JUST so I can buy from Marlin more.

well if you sold it for 6000 would you be able too build the buggy you were talking about with the money you make off this?  ive had a few friends sell there rigs and regret it but then again they built more, if you need the money i would say sell it but if not its up in the air. i love too build rigs so if it was me and i had another project in mind i would sell it and just start a new rig i just did that myself but you will have withdraws while you build your new rig so its good too have friends too go out with or that will let you drive theres a lil too help with ur bug soo you dont cut corners and regret it later.
good luck with your desion and let us know what you do

If you didn't make it, and it ain't broke, you didn't try hard enough.

Thanks for the compliments on mine.  I love it and it's pretty badass but it just isn't what I want anymore. I think I'ma part it and build a buggy with it's drivetrain. thanks for helping me make up my mind guys.
