I don't know if any of you plan to run Barrett any time soon, but if you do, could you please keep an eye out for this dog.
Her name is Polly. She is chipped and tagged. She got spooked by someone shooting guns near camp. We were just getting out of the water after a swim and she took off.
I know I should have had her on a leash. I had it in my hand. I'm feeling pretty crappy.
I hope she comes back out of the hills soon and finds someone soon. This is what she was doing right before we lost her. This sucks.

:rivers:

I cannot imagine how that guy must have felt deciding to leave her.   I pray that he finds her, or that someone does.  I can't even imagine losing my dog up there :rivers:

:crossed:  I hope he finds her

What a bummer  I really  hope he finds her.

We took our horses to the mountains once and brought 2 wild mustangs along just for the ride/experience.  One of them got loose, (late fall-ish).  We ended up finding her in the spring and caught her and brought her home.   I just hope he's so lucky! :crossed:

While hunting I've seen wildish horses in the hills around here before.  No saddle and they want nothing to do with humans.

You can go through life being scared of the possible, or you can have a little fun and tease the inevitable.

Give a man venison, he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to hunt Blacktail, he'll be frustrated for life!
