What happens first

Don't have a crawler yet, and heard that in low, low, low range you can have your engine idling and your brakes won't stop your truck....

Which leads to:

What happens first:
1.  Tire slips
2.  Engine stalls
3.  U-joint breaks
4.  Diff breaks
5.  IFS breaks
6.  IFS CV break
7.  Normal axle breaks

? ? ? ? ?

that stuff isnt going to happen from idling in gear.... what will happen first is you will hit something, lol

and thats with low low gears, that isnt going to happen with a crawler with stock gears in both cases

Uhh, I dont know where you are getting that from but none of my buddies with dual cases have ever been unable to stop their rigs. They can hold their foot on the brakes and the truck will basically stop, but wont stall out up to a point. Not being able to stop isnt an issue if you just put the tranny in neutral. I have a single case with 4.7s and i have never been unable to stop, even on some pretty wicked hills. Its nice because I can put it in first and even on steep hills i usualy only use the brakes minimally.

So out of your list the only likely scenario is number 2, your engine will eventually stall if you are in low, low range and applying the brakes. it wont prevent you from stoping though.

Push in the clutch pedal and then push on the brake. No problems.

I've seen automatic rigs with dual cases be almost unstopable.

I have only heard of this in full on buggies running SBC, Auto, doubler, and rockwells.  And even then not firsthand.  I wouldn't worry.

most of the time it will just wrap the springs up around the axles.

X2 my friends runner with lowgears and a doubler won't stop for :pokinit:, unless he shifts to nutral.

 With my duals, my rear brakes don't hold in Dual low range but the front holds.  usually the rears will just turn slowly on whatever, or dig in.  Eitherway, if I stand on the brakes, eventually the engine bogs down, and stalls.

But yeah, just pop the clutch, then use the brakes :gap:
