are you gettign any fan pushing the air?

how is the heater core, how is the truck running temperature wise, is it possible that the cooling system is not up to par?

the fan is not turning on at all. i dont know what the temp is cause my temp gauge broke so i need to get a new one :(. i just put a new motor in cause my last one was overheating and burning water like a mofo (cracked head or hole in timing cover) could that have something to do with it? when it worked before, it blew warm/hot air it was just weak, now nothing works.

Did you check the heater fuse ?, it should be located behind the radio on the right side, its easy to see if you remove the glove box.

flush the cooling system... inspect the heater core.... if no fan is coming on at all, it sounds liek that is an electrical issue or a bad blower fan

What year?  check your fan switch.  My buddy and I both have 3rd gens, and the switch on both overheated, and melted the plastic around the contacts.  MY switch froze in place because the little ball bearing shifted when the switch melted, my buddies switch moves freely, but his contacts got coated by the melting plastic.

I'm not really sure.

On mine, that little panel that all the switchs come through pops off with a screwdriver, and you can see in there.

Does your fan switch move freely? Mine didn't, thats why I targeted that area

well ok let's start from the  beginning, do you have power to the motor?

do you have power to the back of the switch? do you get power though the switch at all the ponits?

do you get power thought the ballist rester?

DO YOU HAVE A GOOD GROUND TO THE MOTOR??
A good day working, that's just sick :reg:

Don't mess with the coolant or the cooling system yet - so far that would be a waste of time.  It could be perfect for all you know.

Priority is to get that fan going.  Electrical, fuses, relays, and worst case - the blower motor itself.

If you don't even own or know how to use a test light you probably should have somebody fix it for you or learn how to use one.  The bottom line is that you need to start backtracking from the blower motor if there's not power there and see where you quit having power.  If you do have power to the motor check the ground.  If it's got good ground the motor is junk most likely.  That's hard to imagine though if you just replaced it.
