1st gen runner body on 82 long bed ?

i am just getting ready to do some body work on my 82 longbed pickup and would really like to just put a 4runner body on it instead, i have heard of people doing it on shortbeds but can you do it with a longbed or will the fenders be way off.  Any info or pics would be awsome thanks

DO IT. just put in a fuell cell (move the gas tank) shorten the driveline and move your spring hangers,,,, also chop the frame, shorten ebrake cable, shorten rear brake lines, and 2 new body mounts mayby more.

You will have to make rear body mounts too.
