u bolt flip question
« on: Aug 07, 2006, 11:05:09 AM »
ok so i ordered the front flip kit from marlin, put it on, and all the u bolts are different lengnths when i tighted the bolts down. like a BIG difference in lengths. they are on the right sides of the axle and everything too. its not a big deal, it just looks stupid and i wanted to see if anyone has the same problem.

mine are all equal too.  might be a stupid question but do you have the longer on closest to the third and the shorter one closer to the knuckle. (passenger side) i only ask because i had them backwards at first and then relized when they were different lengths.

Mine all came out pretty much equal length too, you might want to rethink your positions?
IFS is best kept at ambient temperature in a pile of scrap in the backyard.  When kept under a functioning vehicle, it tends to greatly diminish said vehicle's offroad ability.     -reklund5
