Shock Question

I got a 1992 4 runner ,v6 5 speed , I buy the trail flex 5" from Marlin ,Nice Kit wow , I got a question about the rear shock, The top rear shock on my runner is a stud ,but in the crawler kit they are eye bolt ,? Wath they do people when they instal the rear shock , Ideas ? Picture ? Somebody that make the same swap heres can help me ?

directly over the rear axle is a tube crossmember,  drill a 1/2 inch hole  and run a couple bolts thru it so you mount the shocks about 12 inches apart at the top directly over the third member

i dont know how stron it is to jsut drill a hole through a crossmember, especially since that tube isnt all tthat sturdy to begin, with, might just cause it to break....

www.budbuilt. com has a shock mount that clamps over the tube, and to me, that seems less invasive than a 1/2" drilled through a 1" thick tube.....

On my 80 that tube is where the original shock mount is. And it lasted just fine...... But I think that newer trucks have the shocks mounted to the frame. I say, Give it a shot. What the worst that can happen? Break? We all break things, we get over it, we fix it, we move on.

ok i chek and i dont ave the rond crossmember, the budbuilt fithing wint fit ? anybody whit a 4 runner make this swap , i need a picture to make sur how to do , !
