chevy 350 in a toyota, Radiator problem
« on: Jun 28, 2006, 08:21:33 PM »
I was wondering what radiator people go with when they do this swap.  I've got my motor in and started, but it's trying to get hot on me.  Just wondering whats a good radiator, or if i can run the factory one and I just have another problem, like water pump, bad thermostat, or whats going on.  Thanks

the stock radiator cant handle the v8, well it might be able to, but its best to go with a larger radiator, the biggest you can cram in there.....

thanks so it seems either purchase one specifically for the conversion or have one custom made.  I just figured that something in a junkyard would fit and do the job.  One that was a close fit and might work for me was out of a jaguar.
