:welcome: Thats one good looking 4Runner. So you are going to have both an exo cage and an in-cab cage? Where do you (not) plan to roll that thing from? The Empire State building?

I actually have a friend locally who has an exo-caged extracab who is working on installing an in-cab cage as I type. I was really teasing him for it, didn't know other people did this too

Well now that you've spilled some beans, it can only mean one thing, more pics!

:worthless:

Welcome to the board.
Nice lights on top of the windshield. My old 2nd gen had one of those things on it when I bought it. I took it off as soon as I got home, broke it into pieces and laphed for a good 10 minutes

what's the deal with that hood?  Make, buy, mod?  I'm guessing you did that for the V-8 swap.  :dunno:

Thanks for the welcome everyone.

The picture was from Tellico, good eye. Taken two weeks ago at the South East 4runner Jamboree 3. That was the first time I had it on the trail, as I just bought it a few months ago. It was set up for mud drag racing when I got it.

Here's another of the hood scoop, not sure who made it, but it is functional for the raised carb breather I guess.

I want to set up a combination of exo/int cage so I can still use my soft-top in summer & hard-top in winter. Then I may try to roll it off the Empire State Building...no pics yet. I am still modding my Marlin tube doors to fit, & beefing up axle & steering right now, the cage should be done by fall. Oh, and I'm in Sumter SC, not NC, but there is no wheeling at all here, so the closest is NC & Tellico.
