I just picked up a 4x4 trans (w/shifter) that is an L50. I don't know what shape its in or how many miles are on it but its up for sale. I can get pix if anyone wants.

I JUST PULLED THE FRONT BEARING RETAINER OFF AND DETERMINED THIS IS IN FACT AN L50

Sorry for the slow responce, my computer power supply started smelling like bunt hair then smoked the mother board. Got the new tower up and running now.
The tranny is at my house near Junction and Country Club. I have Mondays off and am available on
Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun evenings.

I work in sac (near Fulton and El Camino)Tues - Sat every week, just call me to give a little notice so I can bring it to work.
Came out of a early 80s 4x Toyota, not sure specifically what year but by the input bearing # it is definitely
an L50.
