Couple of susp questions?
« on: Apr 20, 2006, 08:01:05 PM »
Hey guys, I recently purchased a 93 yota v6, 4x4 single cab about 4 months ago, and am looking forward to starting my build off. I have been doing some research online as well as here on the forum about what works and what doesnt. Ive decided to do a SAS swap as its about the same price for me as an IFS lift. ( i have already aquired a 84 front end) My question to you guys is what manufacturing company makes the best SAS swap kit? I know marlin makes one, all pro, and sky manufacturing. Im looking to run 36's when im done so im not sure if 4" of lift would be enough while flexing or not. Im looking for a kit that is durable, flex's well and rides decent on the street, as well as comes with the best parts on the market. Also If any of you guys are running a similar set up please post what size lift, brand , gears, lockers, tires your running. Also I have done a search on this topic and nothing similar came up so thats why im posting.

 Thanks
 Justin

What CoyoteFrog said. As soon as I have money  it's what I'm getting.  You'll have plenty of clearance for da big tires. I think it's the most complete kit (Marlin) that I know of. Now does anyone have a couple grand I can borrow? :eyebrow:

I was pissed yesterday, thats why I was droping the Newbie hammer so much, guess i should have kept my mouth shut  :lipsrsealed:  :smack:

JErsland... You have a great platform to start with, I would suggest a marlin SAS kit if your fab skills are not up to par.  If you dont have alot of off road time under you belt, then go out and play as much as you can with your ifs, while you are saving for the SAS.  Once you have been stuck, held back, or broke because of the IFS you will have much more motivation to do the SAS, plus when it is done, you will have the skills to abuse the SAS to it's full potential .
