ok, when i start my truck it freakin sticks....the stink i think is gas or just alot of fumes....not sure, so what is it? why is it stinking? there is no smoke, if there is some, its a whitish color and only lasts for like 15 secs or less....

Is it smoke or steam? and are you loosing coolant?

After you start it shut it back off and pull the spark plugs, see what color the tips are.

Also is your Cat plugged up? that would smell like sulfur if it is and you would be loosing power too.

Did Toyota use a vacuum modulator on their automatic trannys? If so and you have an auto this could make white smoke too.

Just some things to check.

Anybody else have any ideas?

not losing coolant...
plugs are whitish
i believe the cat is 21 years old...i'll probably buy lcs header and get new cat back + exhaust while im at it..(can i get away with $300?)
i have a manual trans

when i first bought it, it used to smoke like mad...but i did the timing chain and it fixed that problem...
i think it could be the cat that stinking, but im not losing any power. well, i dont think i am. i have 33s with 4.10s and i can do 70mph one the freeway easy...70 on the speedo, im proably really going 80...
