Ladies - Post your Rides!
« on: Mar 23, 2005, 02:31:34 PM »
It looks like there are quite a few ladies on this bulletin board.  I'm just curious how many ladies there really are and what you drive.  How did you get your start in wheeling?  I think that it is cool to see ladies on the trail having fun

I have not had many chances to get my new wife, 6 months this weekend, out in the Toy yet, but the one time I had her drive she thought it was more exciting than riding.  I'm waiting for Moab 06 to see what she really thinks.  Having two trucks gets expensive so hopefully she is at least willing to share  ;)
1989 4Runner: Dual Ultimate (Inchworm front & Marlin 4.70 rear), Marlin Twin Stick, 1200-lb clutch, 4.88 R&P, Aussie Front, Detroit rear, 30-spline Longs, Long hub gears, ARP hub and knuckle studs & 35x12.50 Cooper STT PRO tires.  Marlin rear bumper & sliders.  FROR front bumper.  SAS with Alcan springs & Rancho 9000XL shocks.  Budbuilt Bolt-on traction bar.  Custom Interior Cage by Those Guys Rod and Customs.

Where are all the ladies?  You don't have to have your own ride, let us know why you like wheeling.

FCC, MrsWillyMammoth, etc...

Moab 06 is only a few weeks away, my wife   and I are getting excited!

I have a Pathfinder that is 4wd with a limited slip rear diff, but it's my daily driver. Not that it hasn't been offroad, but that's what the Mammoth is for now.
I'll get pics of it later if anyone really wants to see it.
MrW got me into wheeling about 10 years ago with our mud truck. Once I got the mud in my blood I never looked back.
This was our mudtruck, there are some pictures of me in it somewhere.
We used to race it at the mudbog races at Orlando Speedworld Raceway in beautiful Bithlo, FL. I raced with the guys in our class rather then try to compete with the girls in the "powder puff" class driving their guys huge blown V8 truck's  (besides, that name was just too demeaning!)
I never won anything but it was fun.

Damn it BlackDiamond...it should be:

LADIES...POST YOU WITH YOUR TRUCK!

Now I know what my truck would look like if it were all shinny and stuff. That's a nice "Ladies" rig.

Ya'll know what I drive and wheel, but if I HAVE to refresh yer memory  :hahaha:

I got into wheelin when I was 18, but I've always liked built trucks.  I just never thought in my wildest dreams I'd own two of em :smack:

My '70 f-250 on 35" boggers               :psss: I mentioned sellin her since I have the Migo SAS'd now, but I  :slap: myself.  I don't think I could bring myself to do it, no matter how in convenient gas is :disturbed:

My '93 Amigo, SAS'd with a toy front, it's sittin on 32's now, but I have some 35's lined up that I can pick up after payday :woohoo:  I will update this pic later this evening.  I will have this thing goin (If my pitman arm insert comes in) by tonite, and get some shots on the ramp :eyebrow:

Don't really have my own yet but this is me doing some wheelin in the hubby's Tacoma.  His 86 is just about done, so I assume when we feel like taking 2 trucks, I'll be wheelin this one.  No problem!  haha.  I'm just a small town girl who grew up "going on mountain rides" as we call it here in Central PA.  Big trucks turn me on, and I love being one with nature.  LOL.  Cheesy, but true!  You know what I mean.
RIP Kyle, we love and miss you man.  :smooch:
