Info Hunt
« on: Sep 14, 2003, 05:57:38 PM »
I am new to this list and am looking for information.

I have been an avid 4 wheeler for many years and would like to build a 4 Runner into an acceptable wheeler.  Looking at maybe '95 or so to do a front sas, automatic and lift.

Since I have not purchased a vehicle yet I thought some one on this list might help out with facts about the difficulties of this endeavor, pros and cons about years, engines, transfer cases, etc.

We have a '98 J**p TJ that is lifted, locked and set up for good wheeling as well as a 99 F*rd Ranger 4wd extra cab and would like to combine their functions into one vehicle to save $$ in insurance, registrations(thanks Gov.), upkeep, etc.

I have been the route with an '89 Cherokee but had to weld up the body too many times (no frame!).

Thanks in advance.

Rick
