Hummer H3?
« on: Feb 03, 2006, 05:35:26 PM »
Well my mom is starting to look at new cars. She has seen the FJ cruiser and the H3. She likes both and wants to go to look at H3's tomorrow. Do you guys like the H3? I think it is a good design, it fits 33"s from the factory and you can get an e-locker from the factory just like TRD. My mom likes that the H3 is a true 4 door and not a 2 regular and 2 suicide doors like a truck. It has the 3.5l 220 horsepower motor in there, is that a good motor?

They are all a waste of :twocents:
The H1's are cool but WAY to expensive, the H2 and H3 are both just :stopit:
Tell you what, just go get Tahoe or Trailblazer, both also full 4 doors, and built on the same chasis I am sure, and send me the extra 5K or so you have left over.

After the "WOW I GOT A HUMMER" is over, you will be going "WOW I COULD HAVE GOT A TRAIL BLAZER FOR LESS AND PEOPLE WOULDN'T BE GIVING US THE FINGER"

Save your money and don't be a putz. Buy the FJ if you want to spend the money or just get the Trail Blazer.

If she want to spend a butt load of money she should buy the 2007 Toyota FJ cruiser.  For what she will be doing it probley dosent matter what she gets, it just the image, and the " hey look at me, I got money" factor.
I really think that the H2 's and H3's are a shame to H1's.
Thats what happens when GM gets a awsome vehicle to recreat, they go and F--- it up and make it a f*g-mobile.  I will never own a GM vehicle. :puke:

Don't the trailblazers have a straight 6 and the H3s have a straight 5 and are based on the colorado chassis?

I agree that GM has embarassed themselves with everything post H1, but we are in the minority cause most people don't see it out way!  People saw affordability with the H2 and now H3, and didn't buy it for it's predecessor's off-roading prowess, but more for the "oooooohhhhhh" factor.  At first, if you had an H1 you had to have gobs of money, so people knew you were loaded when you said you had a hummer and there was a certain prestige in ownership.  GM just played on that prestige and the weak willed superficial society we live in and ran with it.

hehe...no actually there is a wheelin spot in San Antonio, Tx called devil's den....lots of clubs across the state go there(its actually a cool spot) and its free.. it is a really larg drainage area, with lots of boulders and some really cool wheelin...Apparently they have converted our rock garden into a park for the handicaped. One of the ladies there wrote down the plate #'s of the hummers back there and turned em in to the policia....so the president and the other members who were there are supposidly being fined $500 clams per H2....but there are no tresspassing signs posted as of then...so its an ongoing thing with the city and the club....gay cowboys

New GM SUV's in general  :stopit:. GM completely ruined what a Hummer stands for. Youc could go buy an army hummer for 25000, and have something worth having, not a DD, but if you're going to buy a Hummer...
