New Member in Vancouver
« on: Dec 09, 2005, 10:58:04 AM »
Hi all,

I guess you can call me a new member from Vancouver, BC.  I’ve been reading stuff here for a long time, along with all the other well-known off-road forums.  I finally got around to registering here since I’ve been following Rick’s 7M swap for so long and thought I might want to actually speak for a change…

My truck: 85 pickup, Rebco box, 37” MT/R’s, Detroit, 5.29’s, dual 2.28:1 t-cases, OBA, hand throttle, 63” Chevy rears, soon-to-be 44044’s, Hysteer, etc, etc.  Recently replaced the back half of the frame, part way through building new bumpers and sliders, have a big pile of tube sitting here for an exo...

I’m a little past the half way mark on a full 7M-GE rebuild, which I’ll be swapping in over the week of xmas-new years.  Needless to say, there's no time to actually drive it.
