crossing toy parts

i have a 93 std cab. i am goin to go to sas i am haven to get by for now. the rotors and whole front end off of a 88 will cross to a 93 with no prob or not? i don't have time to try and find out i work to much.  i am trying not to buy any parts until i do the sas.

rotors are the same..unless the 93 happened to have abs, other than that go for it, they have the same part numbers :thumbs:

 :beerchug: the housings are the same for the 4wd and the gears  correct?   what 2 ports in the diagnostic port under the hood do you cross to read for the check engine light my friend just called and i can't remember thanks for the quick response crawlerdan

The 2 pins you need to jump are TE1 and E1.  Then check your flashing check engine light on your dash to see what code it spits out

no pics, but if you open up the cover on the diagnostic port under the hood, it has a sticker that points you in the right direction.

10-4 thanks for the help.it doesn't have a sticker i told him that to. the truck is badly beaten up and abused. there are no stickers under the hood.

all those parts from 88-93 should bolt right up

thanks i will do that this weekend. it will have to be sunday . sat. i will be hunting all day . i just don't want to buy parts because i am getting ready to sas me 93 to run my 38groundhawgs.

a haynes or chiltons manual will have the pics you sek for the jumper... also check out www.4crawler.com he has that inf othere somewhere

i was given a smittybuilt 3'' front tube bumper with the winch plate in it it was off his 85 4 runner will it bolt right up or do i need to redo the mounting brackets? if it doesn't i have a buddy that wants it for his runner.
