When the time comes Ill build an axle using that for the rear so I have a completely flat belly.  Now the driveline hangs down in the rear, Id much rather have it all smooth so I dont have a chance of wasting a good shaft.
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

Kind expensive...do they have the same thin case problems a normal 9inch does?

Id just cut down a full size housing and gusset/ clearance it like I did my front.  Its spendy but have you priced a dynatrac or rockcrusher HP60 center lately? Talk about a chunk of change.

I meant the casing being real thin at the pinion bearing.

Hmm never knew that to be an issue with them.  A buddy broke 2 cases where the snout bearing goes.  They both busted the race area clean off.  but The hi9 is pretty beefy there.  Time will tell.  Id fun a hp60 but its more expensive and I really like drop out 3rds.

I doesn't look like its going to have any oil delivery problems or strenght issues... but then again it usually my heavy foot that finds the weak spots, not my brain. :burnout:

Hey guys. truehi9 here. Check out this link http://www.truehi9.com/cases2.html and look the 1st, 3rd, and 5th, picture . This is the most material around the third bearing of any case built to date.
Thanks

Mmmm beefy.  9" lockers are available in pretty much every spline count and size arent they?  Id need them to be the typical 30 spline 1.31" for using yota shafts.
