CT- East Coast: 85 4Runner Parts
« on: May 22, 2005, 01:08:16 PM »
Alrighty, I have just removed my rear springs, pack is in pretty good shape and looking for a new home, I went with Marlin's fronts so I dont need em.  I also have the u-bolts, mounting plates, etc.  Will soon have the front packs for extra leaves.
I also have some 4.10 open carrier 4cyl diffs.  Later on, in about two weeks I will have a full stock steering setup too.
IFS is best kept at ambient temperature in a pile of scrap in the backyard.  When kept under a functioning vehicle, it tends to greatly diminish said vehicle's offroad ability.     -reklund5

4.10 3rd members are about 50# I think...assuming 4 cylinder version.  Keep in mind that it takes some pretty beefy packaging to keep the third member from ejecting itself from a box.  Just my two cents.
If it never breaks, people can only speculate how much it was overbuilt.
