marlins rear lift
« on: Apr 21, 2005, 01:17:21 PM »
i was looking at the hanger for the rear leafs. marlin told me to move them 6" forward, but i set them up there and i noticed that the hanger is wider than the frame. do i offest the hanger on the frame or center it? and why arnt there directions for the rear lift kit?

Line the new perch up with the old one and measure the distance it sticks out past the frame and move it 6" forward and weld it on.  the reason there arent instructions for the rear kit is because my mom could do the install unassisted.....
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

Make sure the new perch is centered with the old perch.  Imm gonna have to guess that the new perch is the same width inside and the added width on the outside comes from the fact that the hangers are thicker?
