Topic: 30 spline 4 bolt flange oil seal keeps burning out

Hi
I have a 2008 toyota tacoma that I purchased a 30 spline 4 bolt flange for the rear output of the transfer case. The diameter of where it goes into the transfer case is not the same as the stock one and it keeps burning up the seal. Is there a different seal or do i have defective part?

First. Is it a marlin part? 2nd is it larger or smaller? 3rd. If it is larger diameter just get a seal that has the od of your case, id of your flange.

Yes it is a Marlin Part. Where would i find a seal to match the od? I keep getting the seals from the dealer and that is the only one they show for my model

Spoke to guys a MC today and the flange that was sent to me was the wrong one. They have 2 different 30 spline models.  FYI
