G52 tranny in So Cal
« on: Mar 22, 2005, 11:33:17 PM »
I have a G52 tranny I just yanked from my 86 4x4. Tranny was "stuck" in 2nd gear. Thats all I really know about this, and I'm not sure how severe this problem is. Does not include transfer case or bellhousing. Located in Riverside, Ca. Make an offer.

Also will probably be selling a stock rear end out of the same truck. I believe there are 130,000 miles on it. Can anyone give me suggestions on good asking prices for the rear end because I'm not sure what its worth. Thanks.

$200 is a little stiff for a stockish rear, I had a pregnant dog of a time selling my last 86 rear and I was only asking $100 and ended up taking $85 for it.  Not saying they're not worth more, but on here, like ebay it seems that the value of things are only so high as demand dictates.
