Topic: E-Locker Identification Help

I was wondering how to identify what style elocker I have. I picked up an elocker to put in my rig (81 pickup).  I heard that elockers out of 05+ tacomas will not fit in my housing.  I was wondering if there is a way to tell if my elocker is pre or post 2005?

the locker on my 02' 4x4 isn't different from my buddies pre-runner 05' tacoma other than the e-locker control set up they both measure the same the difference is his is a wider axle housing than mine from what we found out
