2ND gen SAS help
« on: Jan 08, 2012, 06:16:39 PM »
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So we cant get my rig up at all. We have tried a set of allpros. Then tonight we tried a set of 48" rears and still no luck. I dont know what to do. I really want to get this thing out but my springs are as flat as can be. I dont know what to do. I want to see if anyone has an idea on maybe a hybrid pack to build. Luke was thinking adding 2 more lower springs from another rear spring pack I have. If anyone has any ideas what to build let me know. Looking around waggies are expensive so if you have another idea let me know.

Here are a few pics of the RUF as it sits tonight. Any help would be great

Most ruf packs take 2 sets to make. Mine have 5 leaf and some others end up with 6. If you run just the stock rears it will sag badly and ride low

Yep, what he said ^^^, you need more leafs. Go on pirate and search RUF, all the info you could ever want on different RUF spring specs.

yes what they said. i run a 6 leaf ruf pack. 2 sets of first gen rears cut and staggered no overloads. soft, nice ride, about 4"s of lift, and they use up all of a 14" shock. dont forget bump stops

Cut means that you shorten some of the leaves so the pack staggers down in length. I'll add a few pics of the ruf packs we have made in a few
