CUCV AXLES

I got a set yesterday for a killer deal...my rear 14 bolt is so massive it is unreal. I lucked up with this one it has a detroit locker in it. I have to rebuild both of 'em them. I love my 60!

I have no batteries for my camera :smack:

4" AXLE TUBE-40 Spline shafts-4.56 gears-Detroit locker- 14 bolt
35 Spline axles-4.56 gears D-60

I have to put new seals and new brakes on it and 1 u-joint ---not really complaining though for the price

It might be...there are a helluva lota splines though...looks like way more than 30. It is 1.5 though

Are you going to do the rear disc swap on the 14bff? Shaves a LOT of weight off the rear axle, and for some reason those 14bff drum brakes don't self adjust very well.

CUCV is the military version of the GM 1 ton 4x4 pick-me-up.
Cross threaded is tighter than Locktite

Yeah, I am gonna have to. They are rusted up a bit. A mountain town(Boone,NC) above where I live got the truck after the military was done with it (i.e. salt and slag rust)
